Alpacas are herd animals that are sold in pairs if you do not have them. Talk to us for more info and also jump on the Australian Alpaca Association website for some good information on alpaca welfare and management of these majestic animals. Wethers are castrated alpacas and are wonderful as pets or guards. Having an entire male on your small property is only advisable if you are a breeder as males should not run with females nor sheep. Cria’s (baby alpacas) are not sold until after 6+ months and once they have been weaned from mum. If you purchase a young male you will need to castrate him via a vet and sign a contract with us to do so. If you are looking for stud’s (males) we have plenty around that we can show you. Do drop us an email with any questions you may have.

The price for the three above with Miss M mated is $3000.

For our LVF member’s its $2800. Price includes GST and delivery within the Lower Hunter Valley. Delivery elsewhere possible. LVF members are people who have attended our alpaca workshops or who have purchased from us already. Don’t forget you need a PIC # to purchase livestock.
